Senior Management Accountant
Job Description
Grafton Banks Finance is pleased to be supporting a well known insurance broker in Thurrock with their recruitment of a Senior Management Accountant. This role will report up to the Financial Controller and take day to day management of two Management Accountants. This is a great time to join the company as it embarks upon its next phase of growth.
The role will include but not be limited to the following:
\xef\x82\xb7 Managing team of two
\xef\x82\xb7 Lead management accountant for largest entity in the group
\xef\x82\xb7 Lead month-end process across all areas
\xef\x82\xb7 Key role in annual audit process for primary statements
\xef\x82\xb7 Exposure to division Finance Director
\xef\x82\xb7 Interaction with FP&A team & input into budget setting
\xef\x82\xb7 Important role in implementing control environment
To be suited to the role your profile will be similar to the following:
\xef\x82\xb7 ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
\xef\x82\xb7 Good knowledge of efficient month-end close process
\xef\x82\xb7 Proven experience of providing audit deliverables on time
\xef\x82\xb7 Understanding of the requirements of working in a fast-growing group including consolidation principles, acquisition accounting and project management skills

The position is being offered on a hybrid working basis (1-2 days per week in the office).
