Senior Manager Business Continuity, Crisis And Enterprise Risk Management

Leicester, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

OverviewOur Finance team is the steady hand behind the scenes - making sure everything adds up so our business can keep moving forward. We're here to support our trading teams with smart, commercial thinking, keep track of every customer transaction, balance the books, and manage procurement with care and precision. We're a close-knit team of around 90 people, covering a wide range of finance specialisms. That means there's room to grow, stretch into new areas, and shape your own path, while still being small enough that everyone's work really makes a difference.

This role is all about helping Dunelm stay resilient, ready, and responsive - no matter what comes our way.

You'll lead the strategic and operational development on our Business Continuity Management (BCM), Crisis Management (CM), and Enterprise Risk frameworks. It's a big-picture role with real impact, making sure we're not just compliant with regulations, but genuinely prepared for the unexpected.

We've recently kicked off a major redevelopment of our enterprise wide business continuity plans, working with a third-party partner to build a strong foundation. You'll take the reins from here - developing, embedding, and evolving our approach to BCM and CM so it's robust, practical, and fit for the future.

You'll work closely with teams across the business, especially Technology teams, building strong relationships and making sure our plans are understood, up-to-date, and ready to go when needed. Once the redevelopment programme is complete, you'll be responsible for ongoing maintenance and effectiveness of our business continuity and crisis management plans. You'll own risk management and risk reporting, supported by our Head of Internal Audit and Head of Finance Transformation and Controls.

If you're ready to shape how we prepare for the unexpected - and want to make a real difference behind the scenes - this could be your perfect next step. Let's build something resilient, together.
