Role: Senior Manager - Containment Layout and Installations
Locations: Derby, Warrington or Manchester, with hybrid working options available
Salary: We anticipate paying a salary of between 68,000- 89,000 DOE

Reporting to the Chief Design Engineer for Installations, the Senior Manager - Containment Layout & Installations is accountable for designing the physical layout of the Containments and Interspace ensuring the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing installation is integrated with the modular build philosophy.
Specifically, the Senior Manager - Containment Layout & Installations will be responsible for leading a multi-discipline team to deliver the layout and installations design of the following Blocks:
1. Containment Interspace
2. Reactor Building
Below are some of the key requirements:
1. Provide design direction and leadership, co-ordinating and driving a large multi-discipline team to deliver the Containment & Interspace regional layout & installations design. Generate a collaborative environment and influence stakeholders (ranging from Components, Fuel Handling, Mechanical Handling to Civils and

Architecture) to deliver an optimised layout.

2. Develop the layout and installation design in accordance with the gated life-cycle design process, taking

responsibility for resolving technical challenges and issues.

3. Manage resource within their team to drive delivery and best utilise individual's strengths.

4. Lead, support and develop individuals within their team - support personal development plans and

identification of suitable training.

5. Provide guidance and coaching to their team on both technical and governance related matters.

6. Define the delivery strategy for Containment & Interspace layout, based on inputs from key stakeholders:

Civils, Architecture, E3S, Human Factors, Systems, Components, CAD, Operations, Build Certainty, Supply Chain and others.

Salary and Package:We anticipate paying a salary of between 68,000 - 89,000 DOE Bonus - Performance related target opportunity 17% Benefits Allowance - 5000 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions. Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.
