The Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Identity and Access Management (IAM) Senior Manager to establish and lead our new IAM team within the Information Security function. This is a critical role responsible for defining and executing our IAM strategy, managing a team of IAM engineers and analysts, and ensuring the successful delivery of key identity-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in implementing robust IAM strategies within complex organisations.

By collaborating across Dojo, the Information Security team work to ensure cyber security is at the heart of our technology and our business processes. We operate in a fast-paced, regulated environment, and our team is at the heart of ensuring we stay one step ahead of emerging threats. Our work spans the entire security lifecycle, from AppSec and Security Architecture to detection and response, as well as pen testing, managing security risk and ensuring compliance. We're not just a support function; we're a key business enabler, working closely with engineering and product teams to integrate security from the ground up.
What You'll do
IAM Strategy & Vision:
+ Develop and articulate a comprehensive Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privilege Access Management (PAM) strategy aligned with the overall security objectives and business needs.
+ Continuously assess and adapt the IAM strategy to address evolving threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
+ Develop and enhance IAM policies and standards.
Build Identity Governance processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of user access.

Team Leadership & Management:
+ Define resource requirements based on business need, and lead the recruitment of the IAM team.
+ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IAM team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of projects and initiatives.
Set clear goals and objectives for the IAM team, ensuring alignment with the overall strategy.

Delivery & Execution:
+ Drive the implementation of identity-related solutions and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
+ Oversee the design, development, and deployment of IAM systems and processes.
+ Ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and regulatory compliance in all identity-related activities.
+ Participate in security IAM incident investigations where required by our Cyber Defence Centre.
Prepare KPI and KRI metrics and reports for management oversight.

Stakeholder Communication & Engagement:
+ Act as the primary point of contact for all identity-related matters within the organisation.
+ Effectively communicate IAM strategy, progress, and challenges to senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders.
+ Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration and adoption of identity solutions.
What will you bring
Extensive experience in developing and implementing comprehensive IAM strategies within large enterprises.
Proven expertise in IAM principles, technologies, and best practices.
Experience with Microsoft Entra.
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing technical teams.
Strong understanding of identity governance, authentication, authorisation, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), privileged access management (PAM) and public key infrastructure (PKI).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
