The Senior Manager of Training and Documentation is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive training programs and internal documentation strategies. This role ensures that employees across all departments are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to perform at a high level, while also maintaining clear, accurate, and accessible documentation of processes, policies, and systems.

Key Responsibilities -




Training Leadership -

Develop and execute the organization's training strategy in alignment with business goals. Oversee the creation and delivery of onboarding programs, technical training, leadership development, and compliance training. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Lead and manage a team of trainers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts. Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and skill gaps.


Documentation Management -

Establish and maintain standards for internal documentation, including SOPs, manuals, and knowledge base content. Ensure documentation is regularly reviewed, updated, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders. Work with IT, operations, HR, and other departments to document processes and systems accurately. Implement tools and platforms to manage documentation efficiently (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, etc.).

Strategic Oversight -

Set and monitor departmental goals and KPIs. Manage the training and documentation budget. Stay current on trends in adult learning, knowledge management, and organizational development. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to training and documentation.


Qualifications



Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, or related field (Master's preferred). Extensive experience in training and documentation, with proven experience in a leadership role. Proven track record in designing and delivering impactful training programs. Strong understanding of learning management systems (LMS) and documentation tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in change management and organizational development. Certification in instructional design, training, or knowledge management (e.g., CPLP, ATD, etc.). Familiarity with industry regulations relevant to training (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
