The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Manager/Associate Director to join our growing practice in Manchester. This is a key role within our expanding tax advisory function, where you'll work closely with Partners and Directors to deliver high-quality client service, support complex projects, and mentor the next generation of tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of tax advisory projects for a wide range of clients, including OMBs, SMEs, corporates, and high-net-worth individuals. Provide strategic tax planning advice across areas such as corporate restructuring, share schemes, succession planning, and inheritance tax. Build trusted client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value and supporting their long-term objectives. Collaborate with Partners on business development and practice growth initiatives. Guide and coach junior team members, supporting both technical skills and career progression. Stay up to date with tax legislation to ensure proactive, compliant, and innovative advice.

About You:

CTA qualified, with strong tax advisory experience. Confident managing client relationships and communicating complex ideas clearly. Skilled at spotting tax planning opportunities and providing commercial solutions. Previous experience in mentoring or managing a team. A proactive, collaborative approach to supporting both clients and colleagues.
