Better Agency is looking for a curious, capable, and collaborative Senior Marketing Executive to join our growing team.
In this role, you'll work across a wide variety of marketing campaigns for a diverse portfolio of B2B clients - spanning sectors like legal, property, technology, and professional services. You'll be expected to bring a broad set of marketing skills to the table, combining content creation, social media, SEO, and email with a confident grasp of modern tools and techniques - including AI platforms that improve productivity and creativity.
We're particularly interested in marketers with multi-disciplinary experience - people who've worked in-house or in smaller agency teams and are used to wearing several hats.
The role is remote-first, but we're looking for someone Essex-based (or nearby) who's happy to meet in person occasionally when needed.
Key responsibilities
Plan, write and edit strong, clear marketing copy for websites, blogs, social media, and multimedia content such as video scripts or campaign assets
Build and schedule email marketing campaigns using tools like Mailchimp or HubSpot
Create, manage, and report on organic social media activity
Support basic on-page SEO optimisation and content performance tracking
Contribute ideas and support delivery across integrated marketing campaigns
Collaborate with internal designers, content writers, and performance marketers
Communicate effectively with clients and help deliver work that performs
Join client calls and support the day-to-day delivery of campaigns
About you
2-5 years of marketing experience (in-house or agency)
A strong writer with a solid understanding of tone of voice and marketing messaging
Familiar with CMS platforms like WordPress or Webflow
Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, or Grammarly to assist with ideation and productivity
Good foundational knowledge of SEO and how content drives search performance
Confident using email marketing tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, etc.)
Aware of how social media can support broader marketing and brand goals
Organised, proactive, and happy managing multiple projects simultaneously
Friendly, approachable, and naturally collaborative
Confident communicating with clients and supporting in a client-facing role
Bonus points if you have
Design or Canva experience
Experience in an agency environment
Familiarity with marketing tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or HubSpot
A portfolio of previous work or campaign examples
