Role Summary

  • Responsibilities: You will play a key role in driving the growth of our marketing services and spearheading business development strategies for the company. Working closely with our Creative, Medical Affairs, Publications, and Operations colleagues across different office locations, you will support with a range of projects and outputs for a variety of audiences

About the Role

As a Senior Marketing Executive in our Creative division, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our marketing services and our business development efforts at the company. You will work closely with our Creative, Medical Affairs, and Publications colleagues across the company to assist with a range of projects and to develop outputs for a variety of audiences, as well as supporting the Head of Client Engagement with the delivery of our client engagement strategy.

You will be responsible for the development and execution of effective marketing strategies for both internal and external clients, helping to drive engagement and achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Working closely with colleagues in the Creative team on the delivery of creative content
  • Supporting communication projects, including strategy development, planning, implementing, and optimising marketing outputs
  • Supporting project objectives through the development of KPIs and the analysis of marketing activities
  • Copywriting support for internal and external client projects
  • Updating and maintaining our external business development materials, including pitch decks, case studies, email marketing, and website copy
  • Providing proactive and strategic advice to support our external presence and client projects
  • Taking a lead role in the management of Costello Medical\'s social media accounts, as well as the expansion of our marketing services
  • Supporting all marketing-related enquiries

About You

We are looking for a candidate who is proactive, eager to take on new challenges, and who will thrive on providing a high level of support to our colleagues. You will have a great understanding of marketing and a meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a real passion for delivering excellent service internally to colleagues and externally to clients in a fast-paced environment.

As a driven and ambitious company that is growing rapidly, we are looking for a candidate who can use their own initiative to contribute innovative ideas for the expansion of our marketing, business development, and client engagement projects. The successful candidate will also be organised and self-motivated, with an eagerness to work both independently and collaboratively.

Essential requirements for the role are:
  • A degree-level or higher qualification in a marketing-related discipline (minimum or expected 2.1, or equivalent). We welcome applications from candidates with a diverse range of specialisms, including but not limited to; Marketing, Business Management and Development, Business Administration, Creative Writing and Communications
  • At least 2 years\' professional experience in a marketing, advertising, or related role
  • A high level of proficiency in written English, and excellent attention to detail
  • Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media tools and management, SEO, and email marketing
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to build robust and sustainable working relationships
  • Previous project management experience, including excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • A high level of productivity, and the flexibility to respond to changing deadlines in a fast-paced working environment
  • An ability to maintain exceptional customer service and quality of deliverables under multiple competing demands
Desired requirements for the role are:
  • Previous working experience and/or knowledge of marketing for the medical communications or pharmaceutical sector
  • A good understanding of the evolving marketing landscape
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud

The Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process includes a telephone interview with a member of the Talent Acquisition team. If successful, you will be invited to an interview at our office with senior members of the Creative and Medical Communications teams. Following your interview, you will be asked to complete a 1 hour written assessment. Our standard recruitment process lasts around 2 to 4 weeks, however this can be adapted if necessary.

We are currently recruiting for start dates throughout 2023, including September and October, and you will be asked to state your availability on your application form.
