We're working with a fast-growing, award-winning events organisation seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to join their expanding team. If you have 2 years+ experience within exhibitions and conferences, this is fantastic opportunity to take the next step.
The Role
As a Senior Marketing Executive, you'll be at the heart of delivering multi-channel campaigns that driving delegate and exhibitor engagement, building brand visibility, and contributing directly to the success of a portfolio of high-profile events.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing, gaining hands-on experience across email, social media, websites, partnerships and more - in a business that's scaling fast.
Key Responsibilities
Event Marketing Delivery
: Plan, coordinate, and deliver integrated multi-channel campaigns (email, social, digital, print, media) to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention. Execute end-to-end campaign management, including segmentation, A/B testing, optimisation, and post-analysis, while supporting pre-, on-site, and post-event communications.
Strategic Leadership
: Develop, champion, and deliver comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with ambitious business targets. Stay ahead of industry trends to maintain the organisation's competitive edge.
Brand Stewardship
: Oversee and enhance brand positioning, ensuring consistent, resonant messaging and a compelling value proposition across all communications and touchpoints.
Content & Copywriting
: Create and edit engaging content for websites, social media, email campaigns, event collateral, and paid campaigns (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook). Manage updates across event websites and contribute to SEO/UX improvements.
Market Intelligence
: Lead market research, competitor analysis, and customer insight initiatives to inform strategy, support segmentation, and identify emerging opportunities for innovation.
Stakeholder Engagement
: Collaborate with senior leadership, sponsors, partners, and exhibitors to translate strategic priorities into impactful marketing initiatives and deliverables.
Budget Management
: Set, manage, and optimise marketing budgets to ensure financial discipline and maximise ROI.
Performance Analytics
: Define and monitor KPIs, providing actionable reporting to senior management through advanced analytics and marketing automation tools.
Innovation & Digital Adoption
: Leverage emerging platforms, tools, and AI to optimise campaigns, enhance customer journeys, and improve conversion pathways.
What You'll Bring
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a marketing role (B2B Event preferred).
Strong copywriting and editing skills with an eye for detail.
Familiarity with CRM/email marketing platforms and CMS tools.
Good understanding of social media platforms and scheduling tools.
Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable working to deadlines.
A collaborative spirit and a genuine interest in events and marketing.
