As Senior Marketing Executive, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the online presence and brand visibility of our hotels. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work closely with a friendly, close-knit team that values creativity, collaboration and fresh thinking. This role is remote-based with some travel to our offices in Stratford-upon-Avon, Birmingham and our hotels across the UK.



You will work as part of a small marketing team tasked with (across some or all of our portfolio of hotels):

Driving direct accommodation bookings through our owned websites Driving wedding enquiries via a number of marketing channels Driving food and beverage revenue through our hotel restaurants, bars and events Creating and executing the marketing plans for your assigned group of hotels Working with agencies to deliver a comprehensive search marketing programme, to incorporate both organic and paid search Building on and delivering our platform CRM programme, to include seasonal, ad-hoc and automated email marketing for all hotels Managing and maintaining our hotels' websites Being the main point of contact for your assigned group of hotels, responding to and ultimately anticipating their marketing needs

Key Responsibilities



Marketing planning and campaign management



Create and maintain annual marketing plans for each of the hotels you represent, working closely with the hotel General Managers and the marketing team to build out the plan Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns (online and offline) to drive awareness and bookings Lead on marketing events and PR initiatives as required for your hotels from time to time Work with hotel teams and external designers to write, design and deliver more complex marketing collateral such as brochures and websites

Brand management



Be the brand ambassador for your hotels, ensuring brand guidelines are followed and understood For branded hotels, have a deep understanding of the brand toolkits and ensure collateral is used effectively and appropriately For independent hotels, work with the Head of Marketing to develop and champion the hotel's brand, including development and implementation of brand guidelines Create a suite of branded design templates (in Canva) for hotels to use across various channels, including print and social media Contribute to the development and maintenance of website content, ensuring it is up-to-date, informative, and aligned with the overall marketing strategy

Search engine and performance marketing



Work with an agency to develop and manage performance marketing strategies across paid search, display, and social media to drive direct traffic and conversion Work with agency to optimise SEO efforts to ensure high visibility of hotel websites and landing pages on major search engines Monitor and analyse performance metrics across Google Ads, Meta, and other paid platforms, using data to refine targeting, messaging, and bidding strategies

CRM and email marketing



Develop and manage CRM strategies to enhance guest engagement, increase repeat bookings, and personalise the customer journey across the portfolio Plan and execute targeted email marketing campaigns, including pre-arrival, post-stay, loyalty, and promotional communication Segment customer databases to deliver relevant, timely messaging that drives conversion and nurtures long-term relationships Track campaign performance using KPIs such as open rates, CTR, and booking conversions, and continuously optimise based on insights Work closely with hotel teams to ensure we continue to build the email database for each hotel

Social media and content



Either directly, or supporting your hotel teams to: Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) for each of your assigned hotels Monitor social media channels for trends, opportunities, and guest feedback, responding promptly and professionally Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting Work with local influencers to enhance the hotel's events and PR initiatives Create visually appealing and compelling content, including graphics, photos, and videos, to showcase the unique features and offerings of each hotel Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and marketing objectives Analyse social media performance and share insights and suggestions to help improve and grow each hotel's social presence Keep up to date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates to ensure best practice across our hotel channels

Insights, analytics and reporting



Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, guest preferences, and growth opportunities for the hotel portfolio Stay on top of marketing industry trends, particularly AI, adapting and applying as appropriate to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement Create monthly owners' reports for each of your assigned hotels, with relevant insights, analysis and examples of marketing activities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



This is not your standard marketing job - so we're not looking for a standard marketer. If you've got a creative eye, a commercial brain, and a love for hospitality, we're already interested.

Bachelor's degree

in marketing, business, hospitality, or a related field Minimum

3 years of marketing experience

, ideally (but not essential) within hospitality, travel, or lifestyle sectors A

passion for hospitality

and exceptional service Proven track record in developing and managing

multi-channel marketing campaigns

Strong understanding of digital marketing, including

website management, SEO, SEM, display, and paid social

Experience managing

CRM and email marketing platforms
