About the Role
We're now looking for a data-savvy, strategic, and creative Senior Marketing Manager to lead our CRM and campaign efforts at
Freight Island
- a cultural destination for food, drink and unforgettable experiences in Manchester and beyond..
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will be the driving force behind customer relationship marketing and integrated campaign strategy. Your work will connect audiences to unforgettable moments, delivering value through tailored communications and data-driven insights. You'll manage end-to-end CRM initiatives, run multi-channel campaigns, and help scale engagement across key customer segments.

Freight Island is a cultural destination for food, drink and entertainment based at Depot Mayfield, Manchester. We're home to 12 kitchens, 8 bars, and a diverse calendar of live shows - from DJs and bands to quiz nights and kids programming.

What You'll DoResponsibilities include (but are not limited to):
CRM Strategy & Execution
Own the CRM strategy ensuring data-driven personalisation and lifecycle optimisation.
Design and execute customer segmentation, automation flows, and A/B testing strategies.
Oversee CRM database management, hygiene, and growth, in collaboration with tech and data partners.
Track and report on key metrics such as open/click-through rates, conversion, retention, and LTV.
Campaign Management
Plan and lead the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and owned media - aligned to brand, seasonal, and commercial goals.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies on creative development, asset delivery, and media planning.
Maintain campaign calendars and ensure timely go-lives, reporting, and retrospectives.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with internal operations teams and external promoters to translate business goals into marketing actions.
Analyse data from across to derive insights, set KPIs, and optimise campaign and CRM performance.
Write effective briefs for both internal and external creative teams to enable effective multi-channel campaign delivery
Skills & Experience
5+ years in a senior CRM or campaign management role, ideally in hospitality, retail, entertainment, or lifestyle sectors.
Strong hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Klaviyo, Mailchimp).
Demonstrated success in developing lifecycle marketing strategies and automated communications.
Proficiency in campaign planning and execution across digital channels.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate it into actionable insights.
Creative eye for engaging content and audience engagement.
Excellent project management skills with a collaborative, can-do attitude.
