About the Role



The Heaton Group is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead our in-house marketing function and deliver the Group's long-term marketing strategy. Operating in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, the role will oversee multiple concurrent workstreams and play a pivotal role in driving brand performance, lead generation, and business growth.

You will manage and develop a high-performing marketing team, ensuring activity is insight-led, results-focused, and aligned to wider business objectives.

Key Duties & Responsibilities



While responsibilities may evolve in line with business needs, the core accountabilities include:

Develop, own, and deliver integrated marketing strategies that support business objectives and drive commercial performance. Lead the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, PR, and print. Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making. Manage and control the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and demonstrable return on investment. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across the business to ensure consistent, cohesive brand messaging at all touchpoints. Oversee the creation and quality of all marketing assets, including brochures, newsletters, website content, and campaign materials. Monitor, evaluate, and report on marketing performance, using data and insights to optimise future activity. Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, industry partners, and key external stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and reputation. Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications



Proven experience in a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing role, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-brand or hospitality environment. Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or a CIM qualification (preferred but not essential). Demonstrable experience managing and developing a team. Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and consumer behaviour. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insight into action. Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and social media platforms. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A creative, innovative mindset combined with strong commercial awareness. Highly organised, with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
