Role Overview:



We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the BatFast Hardware team, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation, designing and developing mechanical & electromechanical systems, whilst collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and solutions

Key Responsibilities:

Innovation:



Development of conceptual design ideation and implementation using Autodesk Inventor. Develop innovative mechanical designs and solutions to meet project requirements. Research and incorporate emerging technologies and materials to enhance product performance. Facilitate brainstorming sessions and design reviews to foster creative thinking.

Mature Design:



Design and maintain current product designs. Develop test methods for product durability, reliability, and repeatability. Lead testing processes and data analysis for all products. Maintain document control for design, manufacturing costs, and regulatory compliance. Lead with cost down activities.

Product Delivery:



Lead in building electromechanical prototypes and provide remote technical support. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source technology, materials and components. Oversee prototype assembly and testing to validate design concepts. Support the transition of products from prototype to production.

Team Collaboration:



Drive improvements across BatFast to enhance client experience and team effectiveness. Assist operations with production builds when required. Mentor other team members and foster a positive culture of collaboration.

About You:



Experience:



Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering/manufacturing, preferably in electromechanical systems. Expertise in computer-aided design software, particularly Autodesk Inventor. Proficient in sheet metal/fabrication, CNC machining, and assembly techniques. Experience in quality engineering, SOP creation, and industrial time study is desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
