Project involves design and development of Mechanical Handling and Cylinder Storage Equipment located within a new-build facility.
Develop 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
Daily Duties:
- 3D design and detailing using Autodesk Inventor
- Design of structural steel equipment such as stillages, cradles, stacking blocks etc. for the storage of large process cylinders
- Design of storage solutions for sample bottles such as racks, storage arrays etc. within rooms
- Design of mechanical handling equipment such as an overhead crane, jibs & hoists, rail transporter etc. which can be used for visual purposes and be integrated into the BIM Model of the facility
Skills and Experience:
- Expert in the use and knowledge of Autodesk Inventor
- Experience in developing 3D models using steel components
- Experienced in material selection and thickness for structural purposes
- Experience in producing GA drawings
