Advance Automated Systems is a leading specialist in the design, manufacture, and installation of conveyor and automated systems. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineers to join our dynamic team.
About the Role:
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the assembly of high-quality machinery and conveyor systems at our Newton Aycliffe facility. This is a varied and challenging position that requires hands-on technical expertise and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical assembly of conveyors and machinery in accordance with technical drawings and specifications Installation and fitting of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Installation of cable management systems Ensuring adherence to best practices, safety standards, and quality procedures throughout all stages of work
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment Strong mechanical assembly skills, with a good understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and cable management Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation accurately Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and within a team Excellent communication skills at all levels, fostering strong teamwork and collaboration

Pay: 13.00-17.00 per hour
