Job Description
One of the most well-known nuclear companies in the UK is looking for senior mechanical engineers to work on some of the most prestigious projects in the sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior mechanical engineer to work on some massive project in defence/nuclear sector.
- Job Title - Senior Mechanical Engineer
- Location - Warrington 2/3 days a week
- Contract Length - 12 Months
- Pay Rates - Up to 60.00 an hour (Inside IR35)
- Provide technical support to the team for you specialist area and ensure you are working to deadlines effectively
- Make engineering decisions from a project and technical stand point
- Act as the technical authority or lead mechanical engineer when required to do so.
- Ensure all change are assessed and managed accordingly to project scope
- Ensure the procedures and engineering codes are consistently met and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce and review all technical documents and approve calculations, analysis, drawings and models for design documents and technical reports.
- An engineering degree in a relevant field
- Experience in working in heavily regulated sites with multiple discipline teams
- Demonstrated experiences in covering a wide range of tasks across a range of complexities
- Experience in managing an engineering scope
- Chartered status preferred (DESIRED)
