We are recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support key deliverable across our Decommissioning project portfolio, key responsibilities will be:

Mechanical engineering-based work in the definition, implementation and execution of engineering work packages to support innovative solutions for clients. Delivery of quality mechanical based engineering deliverables, with clear underpinning of decision process with respect to preferred solutions. Share learning and best practice across the engineering function, incorporating learning from wider parent organisation activities and capture lessons learned to support innovation. Conducting, assessing, and reviewing engineering studies to determine an optimum solution for the client. Ensuring that governance and assurance is applied, and that consideration of conventional and nuclear safety has been given. Collaborate with team members and other subject matter experts to ensure high quality results.

Here's What You'll Need

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (e.g. HNC/HND with significant experience) in engineering discipline. Attained/ or working towards chartered or incorporated status with a recognised professional body (e.g. IMechE). Experience of highly regulated environments would be advantageous. Working knowledge of CDM, SoMSR, PUWER & LOLER
