Scope of the Role

The

Senior Mechatronic Engineer

leads mechanical and electronics design from concept to production transfer, closing the gap between R&D and manufacture. You'll partner with software, production and external electronics partners to deliver robust, compliant product data.

Own schematics, PCB layout reviews and electronics change control. Develop mechanical designs for manufacture, assembly and test. Plan builds, verification and documentation through technical file transfer. Manage day-to-day with external electronics partner to reduce reliance. Improve lightweight processes for risk, revision and traceability.
Key Skills and Experience Required

Proven

Senior Mechatronic Engineer

, plus experience as a

Mechanical Engineer

or

Design Engineer

. Demonstrable schematics, PCB layout oversight, board bring-up and debugging using professional EDA tools. Strong mechanical design for production using SolidWorks or similar, plus DFM/DFA experience. Version control and formal change control across mechanical and electronics artefacts. Confident communicator, mentoring peers and explaining trade-offs to non-experts.
Salary and Benefits
