We're looking for an experienced
Senior Medical Writer
to join our expanding
neuroscience publications team
, working on a major global account at the forefront of innovation in neurological disorders. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-profile publications and help shape the way fresh science is shared with the medical community.
Your Opportunity
As a
Senior Medical Writer
, you'll lead the development of scientific publications and communication materials that translate complex neurological data into clear, credible, and engaging narratives. You'll collaborate with global clients, external authors, and internal experts to deliver content that meets the highest scientific and ethical standards while supporting data sharing strategies in the fast-evolving neuroscience field.
You'll also help mentor writers, driving quality and consistency across deliverables, and contributing to strategic discussions on publication planning.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the development of
peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, and publication plans
across a portfolio of neuroscience programs.
Translate complex data into accurate, compelling, and audience-appropriate scientific narratives.
Collaborate with clients, authors, and opinion leaders throughout the publication process -- from concept to submission.
Ensure all deliverables follow
Good Publication Practice (GPP 2022)
,
ICMJE
, and company compliance standards.
Provide scientific guidance and editorial review for writers across the team.
Partner with account and editorial colleagues to ensure scientific excellence and seamless project delivery.
Contribute to strategic publication planning, scientific messaging, and data communication plans.
Support new business activities through content development and scientific insight.
About You
Minimum degree in a life science discipline; neuroscience background an advantage.
Several years of experience in
medical communications
, with a focus on
scientific publications
.
Background in
neurology / CNS therapeutic areas
(e.g., multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, migraine, or rare neuro diseases).
Knowledge of publication best practices and familiarity with global publication management tools.
Collaborative mindset and experience with mentoring and scientific storytelling.
