Senior Mental Health Nurses
who can deliver
exceptional, individualised care
and represent the highest professional and interpersonal standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based psychiatric and psychological care for adults with complex presentations.
Lead, supervise, and mentor nursing and support staff with professionalism and compassion.
Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals.
Conduct comprehensive assessments, risk management, and care planning.
Administer and monitor psychiatric medications, including titration.
Maintain impeccable clinical documentation and confidentiality.
Act as a trusted liaison for patients, families, and referring clinicians.
Manage crises, emergencies, and safeguarding issues with confidence and calm.
Specialty Areas
You will support clients across a broad range of psychiatric specialities, including:
General Adult Psychiatry (Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Personality Disorders)
Addiction Psychiatry (Alcohol, Substance, and Behavioural Addictions)
Trauma & PTSD (including Complex and Post-Conflict Trauma)
Neurodevelopmental Disorders (ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder)
Child & Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS)
Liaison Psychiatry (Psychiatric care with physical comorbidities)
Eating Disorders, Perinatal Mental Health, Old Age Psychiatry
Forensic Psychiatry, Psychiatric Rehabilitation
Requirements
Essential
NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Significant post-qualification experience in acute or private psychiatric settings
Expertise in at least two mental health sub-specialities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - articulate, confident, and empathetic with clients and families
Proven ability to engage sensitively with high-profile or high-net-worth clients
Strong crisis management and safeguarding capability
Professional, discreet, and adaptable approach
Experience in luxury, private, or concierge healthcare
Desirable
Leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams
Postgraduate training in psychotherapy, trauma, addictions, or neuropsychiatry
Experience in bespoke, one-to-one, or residential care settings
