Duties



Deliver comprehensive mental health assessments and develop personalised care plans for patients. Administer medication and monitor patient responses, ensuring safety and efficacy. Provide emotional support and therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment and discharge planning. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatments, and interventions in compliance with legal and organisational standards. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. Ensure the safety of all patients by adhering to safeguarding protocols and risk management procedures. Participate in ward rounds, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications



Registered Mental Health Nurse with valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Proven experience in patient care within mental health settings is desirable. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to mental health conditions is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate approach with a commitment to delivering high standards of care. Flexibility to work shifts as required, including nights or weekends if necessary. Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Zero hours contract

Pay: 23.00-25.00 per hour
