About the Role:



As a Senior Mental Health Nurse, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, person-centred care across a broad spectrum of mental health conditions. You'll play a key role in shaping clinical practice, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring excellent standards are maintained across the service.

Responsibilities



Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for residents with varied mental health needs Mentorship and training Provide guidance and clinical supervision to nursing and support staff Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives Act as a key liaison with families, carers, and external professionals Ensure compliance with safeguarding, risk management, and legal frameworks Uphold NMC standards, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate integrity in all duties.
What We're Looking For:

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration Extensive experience across a range of mental health conditions Proven leadership or management experience in a clinical setting Strong communication, assessment, and decision-making skill Provide expert assessment, care planning, and interventions for residents Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe and person-centred practice Monitor, maintain, and improve clinical standards in line with CQC and NMC guidelines Support the Home Manager with staff development, audits, and quality assurance Act as a point of contact for complex case management and clinical decision-making Foster a compassionate and respectful culture within the home
