Summary



As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner at NHS Professionals, you will play a vital role in supporting Children and Adolescents with mental health needs. This position allows you to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility and support that comes with being part of our NHS community.

Responsibilities



Ensure that each referred patient receives a specialist assessment, risk management and care plan and is the subject of regular evaluation which, wherever practicable is formulated in conjunction with the patient and/or family. Provide specialist interventions for referred children and their families, within a therapeutic framework. Act as the key worker for an identified caseload. Prepare assessments, treatment reports and discharge summaries, in accordance with local policies. Professionals clinical qualification, including, RMN/OT/Social Worker etc.

Requirements



Extensive post registration experience in mental health care including mental health assessments and risk assessments. Use of therapeutic interventions within a mental health setting, i.e.: counselling, family therapy or group work. Working knowledge of mental health issues in CAMH services. NON - medical prescriber (Desirable)

Pay: 20.15 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
