We're looking for a skilled and caring Senior Residential Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting children and young people. This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment while guiding and developing fellow team members.

Pay: Up to 15.00 per hour based on a tier structure plus time and half for weekend's and nights

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with other professionals. Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members to ensure a cohesive support system. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the individual's condition. Assists with all paperwork Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals, fostering independence and confidence. Engage in recreational activities that promote social interaction and personal development.

Experience

Previous experience working with children or in a similar support role is essential. Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with individuals and their families. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between locations. An understanding of childcare principles and practices will be beneficial in delivering high-quality support.
