As we expand, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join us as a Senior MEP BIM Coordinator, with clear career progression toward BIM Lead or BIM Manager roles.
Role Overview:
The Senior MEP BIM Coordinator will manage and develop BIM processes across multiple projects, ensuring seamless integration of design and construction workflows. This hands-on role involves creating accurate Revit models, leading clash detection and resolution, supporting structured data deliverables, and mentoring junior team members. The successful candidate will be technically strong, organised, and able to manage multiple projects independently while liaising confidently with clients and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
:
Lead coordination for mechanical, electrical, and public health systems.
Develop and manage Revit MEP models to appropriate LOD standards.
Conduct clash detection in Navisworks Manage and coordinate resolutions across teams.
Operate within CDE platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM Collaborate Pro and Navisworks.
Maintain compliance with ISO 19650 information management processes.
Support structured data deliverables, including COBie, IFC mapping, and exports.
Produce drawings, including general arrangements, sections, schematics, and installation documentation.
Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, templates, and family libraries.
Provide guidance, mentoring, and technical support to junior team members.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate model integration and data consistency.
Essential Skills & Experience:
2-3+ years' experience in MEP BIM coordination.
Expert in Revit and Navisworks Manage.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and public health building systems.
Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.
Proven ability to take ownership of coordination, liaise with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality BIM outputs.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience producing COBie deliverables.
Previous involvement in BIM process improvement.
Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Desirable Skills
:
Experience with automation tools such as DiRoots plugins or Dynamo.
Experience with prefabrication/fabrication-ready drawings.
Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors.
