Senior iOS Engineer

who leads by example, mentors others, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

In this role you will:

Lead complex, multi-quarter projects with ambiguous requirements and drive them to successful completion. Mentor junior engineers and guide them through technical and career development. Collaborate with tech leadership and cross-functional teams to define and deliver scalable mobile solutions. Design, implement, test, and deploy high-quality iOS features using SwiftUI, Combine, RxSwift, and Cocoa frameworks. Promote best-in-class mobile practices including UI/UX excellence, operational resilience, and platform-centric features. Drive technical design end-to-end and contribute to architectural decisions across multiple projects. Advocate for code quality through testing, monitoring, alerting, and tooling (e.g., linters, code coverage). Analyze and optimize app performance using metrics and monitoring tools. Translate product needs into clear engineering direction and deliver impactful solutions. Contribute to the broader engineering community through blog posts, open-source contributions, or tech talks. Act as a spokesperson for software design best practices and mobile product thinking.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 8+ years of professional software development experience. Strong expertise in iOS development with SwiftUI, Combine, RxSwift, and Cocoa. Formal mentorship experience with at least 3 individuals.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience leading multiple long-term, multi-quarter projects in decentralized teams. Familiarity with Android and/or web technologies. Familiarity with using AI tools to accelerate the development process. Experience driving product and tech initiatives independently. Deep understanding of testing, monitoring, and operational excellence in mobile environments. Demonstrated ability to justify technology choices to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
