We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Radar Commercial Motor team and contribute to our success by developing sophisticated pricing models and strategies. This will be a hybrid position based out of our Guildford office.
The Senior Pricing Analyst in our Motor Pricing Team will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced pricing models to optimize our product offerings and enhance profitability. This role requires a strong analytical background, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to achieve strategic objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving pricing initiatives and providing insights that support decision-making processes.
You'll participate in the Global P&C Academy accreditation, enhancing your skills in underwriting, risk engineering, pricing, and claims management while exchanging best practices across the Allianz Group. Furthermore, for pricing-based roles, Allianz Insurance offers a generous study package to enable the actuarial qualification to be obtained through the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK.

Salary Information
Pay: Circa 55,000 per year.
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
As the Senior Pricing Analyst focusing on Radar Commercial Motor, you will be responsible for:
Analysing the performance of existing models and suggest improvements to the Pricing Model.
Analysing the impact of model adaptions and pricing changes and clearly present the impact analysis to colleagues and senior stakeholders for sign off.
Creating efficiencies in existing ongoing process to ensure a credible and consistent approach for day to daywork.
Using your experience to assist in the development of junior analysts.
Designing and running testing of price changes and their movement into a production environment.
Supporting the deployment of new rates into the business by utilising existing data assets and Radar projects to ensure suitable testing coverage.
Taking the lead in driving deadlines on price changes managing external resource and testing teams.
Essential Skills
To be successful in this role you will:
Understand key processes, procedures and targets and is able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
Understand how own/the team's work contributes to business performance and customer outcomes.
Have strong analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Interpret rules and guidelines properly to support decisions.
Have full working knowledge of tools appropriate to lines of business worked on (e.g. MS Excel, VBA and SAS (Enterprise Guide and/or Base), Willis Towers Watson Emblem, Classifier and Radar, Micro-strategy.
Have relevant Underwriting Academy experience or understanding of the UK Motor Insurance market is desirable .
