Remit

Compass Associates are currently assisting in the search for a Senior MSK Physiotherapist to work in the Physiotherapist department of a well-established private hospital in the Chertsey area. Rated as "Good" by the CQC, this Private Hospital is part of a group that has previously won \xe2\x80\x9cPrivate Hospital Group of the Year\xe2\x80\x9d in LaingBuisson Awards.The hospital has 52 private rooms and provides services for patients who require surgery or treatment for a large range of medical related conditions.

Based in the MSK Outpatient department, as an experienced Physiotherapists you will specialise in a wide variety of treatments including Sprains, Whiplash, Pre/Post operative surgeries, Gynaecology, Acupuncture and Biomechanical assessment for foot orthotics.You will have full use of a well equipped gym and private rooms to aid your treatment programmes.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will need to be a fully qualified and experienced MSK Physiotherapist with a current registration to the HCPC and CSP. They will need to be a Physiotherapist with knowledge of current issues in professional practice with particular relevance to the Unit, and candidates from both NHS or Private backgrounds will all be considered.

This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility to accommodate your needs.

Requirements

\xe2\x80\x93 Degree level educated, or equivalent.
\xe2\x80\x93 Experience of treating patients with MSK conditions
\xe2\x80\x93 Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
\xe2\x80\x93 Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
\xe2\x80\x93 Excellent communication skills
\xe2\x80\x93 Professional attitude
\xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools
\xe2\x80\x93 Strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management

Duties

\xe2\x80\x93 Manage a clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment to the highest standard, ensuring excellent patient care at all times.
\xe2\x80\x93 Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for relevant departments participating in these patients\' pre-admission and follow-up care as appropriate.
\xe2\x80\x93 Take an active role in supporting the implementation of national developments locally.
\xe2\x80\x93 Ensure the department maintains CHG Physiotherapy accreditation.
\xe2\x80\x93 Keep abreast of developments in physiotherapy by attending relevant courses and maintaining an up to date personal portfolio.
