Role Overview

The main responsibility of a

Senior Network Engineer

will be to support our IT-Platforms Infrastructure Team's

third-line operations

. You will serve as the main point of contact for escalations and be an expert on vital infrastructure components. It would be expected of you to mentor and advise other team members. You will manage both

project-based and Business as Usual (BAU)

responsibilities in a dynamic workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Give leadership in examiner, manage, and proactively optimise all structure network services to insure top-league performance and vacuity. Top position support and power of WAN and LAN technologies and to unite and help in all top-position support. Give expert support for pall - grounded results, icing smooth and effective integration as well as effective support. Develop and apply robotization scripts and tools, taking part in robotization enterprise to enhance network operation and streamline conservation tasks. Produce, update, and review structure attestation in agreement, icing clarity, and perfection. Cleave rigorously to IT processes and procedures, especially regarding Change Control, Privileged Access Management, and system security, icing full compliance with nonsupervisory conditions and internal programs. Resolve all logged incidents and service requests instantly, and support major incident conditioning, as well as problem, change, and configuration operation processes. Unite with the Service Delivery platoon to manage escalations and resolve tickets effectively, icing high-quality service delivery. Share in functional rotas to maintain environmental stability and proactively identify and address implicit issues. Engage with merchandisers to give support and guidance, enhancing service delivery and resolving specialized challenges. Work nearly with the global IT - Platforms structure platoon to deliver flawless support across different regions and time zones to our stoner community.

Requirements

Proven experience in IT support (15 plus years) Extensive experience in troubleshooting complex network, system, and security issues, with strong expertise in network automation and scripting (Bash, APIs). Proven capability in designing and implementing multi-site LAN and WAN environments, with deep hands-on experience in Cisco infrastructure, including Nexus 3K/9K and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. Skilled in firewall and wireless technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba), MPLS, VPN, QoS, SD-WAN, WAN acceleration, and enterprise network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, F5, and PRTG. Demonstrated experience in patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, vendor management, cloud connectivity (Azure ExpressRoute, AWS, Office 365), VMware NSX, micro-segmentation, IT governance, compliance, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
