Requirements



About the Role




We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to take shared ownership of our global network operations and support our core network activities to maintain a reliable, high-performance network. This role covers vendor management, coordinating closely with our internal DC Operations and SRE teams, hardware lifecycle management, hardware upgrades, and capacity planning.


You'll be part of a global team supporting the day-to-day running of our infrastructure, which spans more than 11 datacenters worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to work in a fast-paced, varied environment and to grow within a truly global operation.


We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant role. We are looking for experienced professionals who can bring additional depth and expertise.

What You'll Do



Design, implement, and document network infrastructure Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and associated technologies Deliver network upgrades, migrations, and improvement projects Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure minimal disruption Support and improve Juniper-based routing and switching estates Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver successful projects and ensure performance Maintain RIR databases Occasional out-of-hours work and on-call availability

What You'll Bring



CCNP / JNCIP level knowledge (or equivalent experience) Juniper EX / MX / SRX platforms Cisco networks Strong routing and switching experience (BGP, OSPF, LACP, Virtual Chassis) Confident troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to Have



MikroTik experience NetFlow / data analysis tools (Kentik, LibreNMS) DDoS mitigation experience Experience in web hosting infrastructure Juniper automation
