Role Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Night Senior Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the night shift, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents while maintaining the high standards of care that Waters View is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the night care team, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard. Provide person-centred care to residents, including assistance with personal care, mobility, and other needs. Administer medication in accordance with policies and procedures. Respond promptly to emergencies and ensure the safety and security of the home during the night. Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation. Conduct regular checks on residents and ensure a calm, quiet, and comforting environment. Act as a point of contact for residents, staff, and family members during the night.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a care role, ideally in dementia care. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of medication administration procedures. A caring, patient, and empathetic nature. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure. Flexibility to work nights, including weekends and bank holidays.

Shift times:
7pm-7:15am
2 Shifts per week
Every other weekend essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 150.00 per day

Expected hours: 24 - 49 per week
