We are excited to invite applications for a Senior Nurse with a background in palliative care to join our dedicated and compassionate team at The Woodlands Inpatient Unit. Key Requirements:

1st Level Registered Nurse



Minimum 2 years experience working as a Band 5 Registered Nurse or a Band 6 registered nurse both with palliative experience.



A dedication to ongoing professional development and improving team collaboration

Candidate must have a current NMC pin registration.



Candidate must have experience in an acute NHS or palliative care setting.



We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team. Effectively communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent care delivery.



Demonstrate passion for delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring patient safety and well-being at all times.



Take responsibility for holding the IMPaCT out-of-hours phone during weekdays and weekends, ensuring continuity of care and support during non-core hours.



Assist in the development and implementation of best practices and clinical guidelines.

Job responsibilities



You will support the ward manager to lead, provide and supervise a very high standard of compassionate care to our patients. You will be supporting the safety and quality agenda of patient care and staff management , ensuring that the values and objectives of the Trust are met, whilst improving patient outcomes.



You will support the journey of the patient from admission to discharge, identify risk and formulate actions to reduce this risk and ensure patient throughput is effective.



You will display excellent leadership and effective communication skills and able to demonstrate a proactive, collaborative and innovative approach to the clinical environment and passionate about excellence in patient care.
