As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to join our team and help us create those wonderful experiences for our little learners.

A Bit About Us

Ashbourne Day Nurseries was founded in 2008 by parents, for parents, with our first nursery in Oxley Park, Milton Keynes. Since then, we've grown into a family of nurseries, each offering something unique, from purpose-built spaces to settings on farms and in beautiful listed buildings.

While we are proud of our growth, we're equally committed to maintaining a friendly, warm atmosphere where children, parents, and staff feel like part of the Ashbourne family. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and always put children at the heart of everything we do.

Your Role

As Senior Nursery Manager, you'll be the heart of the nursery, leading a fantastic team and ensuring that every child in your care has the best start in life. You'll create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where both children and staff can flourish. You'll also play a key role in managing the nursery's operations and making sure that we maintain our high standards.

This position will be a dual site role for Barking and Dagenham Nurseries.

What You'll Be Doing

Overseeing the daily running of the nursery, ensuring everything is in line with Ofsted and EYFS standards Leading, motivating, and supporting a team of passionate childcare professionals Creating a welcoming environment where children and parents feel like part of the Ashbourne family Managing budgets, staffing, and resources to make sure everything runs smoothly Building strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them updated on their child's progress Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children by following safeguarding protocols and health & safety guidelines
About You

You hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification . You have at least 2 years' experience in a senior role in an early years setting You're a natural leader with a passion for working with children and supporting a team You have a great understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and all relevant regulations You're organised, approachable, and a great communicator You truly care about creating a positive, nurturing environment for both children and staff
