Duties
Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in childcare.
Lead, mentor, and support nursery staff to promote professional development and enhance team performance.
Develop and implement educational programmes that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their children's progress and addressing any concerns.
Maintain a safe and clean environment, conducting regular safety checks and risk assessments.
Collaborate with local authorities and educational bodies to ensure adherence to early years frameworks.
Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels effectively to ensure smooth nursery operations.
Skills
Proven management and leadership abilities within a childcare or nursery setting.
Extensive experience working with children, demonstrating a strong understanding of their developmental needs.
Background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with staff, parents, and external partners.
