We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for early childhood education and demonstrate strong management and leadership skills. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and fostering their development through engaging activities.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and education.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
Monitor children's progress and development, conducting assessments as required.
Provide training and mentoring to new staff members, promoting best practices in childcare.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to childcare services.
Skills
Strong management and leadership abilities to effectively guide a team.
Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
Previous nursery experience is highly desirable.
