Summary

We are seeking a Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Bear Care - Arnold House Day Nursery. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the educational experiences of young children aged 3 months to 11 years, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and support as they grow.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of nursery staff, ensuring high standards of care and education. Develop and implement age-appropriate learning activities that promote children's development. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to support children's transitions. Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development. Provide guidance and support to staff members in their professional growth. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery.

Requirements

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 3 or above). Proven experience working in a nursery or childcare setting with young children. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A passion for nurturing children's development and promoting their well-being.
