We're looking for a

Senior Nursery Practitioner

to join our friendly team -- someone passionate about early years education, confident in leading others, and committed to providing the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Nursery Room Leader and Management Team in the day-to-day running of the room and nursery. Lead and model high-quality interactions, planning, and observations in line with the EYFS framework. Ensure all children's individual needs are met and that a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment is maintained. Act as a key person, building strong relationships with children and their families. Support and mentor junior staff, helping to develop their skills and confidence. Contribute to staff meetings, planning sessions, and ongoing nursery improvements. Maintain accurate records, observations, and reports on children's progress. Ensure that safeguarding, health and safety, and all nursery policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements

Minimum

Level 3 qualification

in Early Years Education or equivalent. Sound knowledge of the

EYFS

, child development, and safeguarding. Experience working within a nursery or early years setting, ideally in a senior or supervisory role. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A positive, caring, and proactive attitude towards children's learning and wellbeing. Ability to lead by example and support a strong team culture.

Pay: 14.20 per hour

Expected hours: 41 per week
