Senior Nursery Practitioner

Footsteps Stafford Nursery & Pre-School

is based in a large period property with an impressive outdoor garden, our nursery features an on-site forest school including an outside classroom. This friendly and homely nursery provides quality childcare for children from birth to 5 years. Our staff provide both a stimulating environment, as well as excellent opportunities, for children to learn through a mix of adult led and child-initiated activities.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

Deliver learning experiences and planned activities for a key group that provides outstanding opportunities for the children

Work within a team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children

Work in partnership with parents to ensure the outcomes for children are met

Assess and report on children's progress to ensure continued development

Be passionate, inspiring and work effectively within a team and have a hands on approach to your own professional learning and development

To be fun, caring and friendly

To promote a high-quality learning environment

What we need from you?

Passion and commitment for working in childcare

Ability to work shifts between 7.30-6.00pm Monday to Friday

Commitment to continual development

Have sound Knowledge of EYFS

NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, NVQ level 3, EY Educator
