Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to take the lead in ensuring the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is implemented to the highest standard across our nursery.

This is a pivotal role for someone with a strong foundation in early years education and leadership, ready to make a lasting impact on children's development and staff practice.

? Your Role

As our EYFS Lead, you will:

Champion continuous improvement and innovation in nursery practice. Lead, manage, and inspire a large team of early years professionals. Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, EYFS, Health & Safety, and other regulatory frameworks. Embed the statutory EYFS framework across the nursery, supporting staff to elevate their practice. Implement our curriculum to ensure it is engaging, age-appropriate Promote a child-centred approach to learning and development. Build trusting relationships with families and the wider community. Uphold and contribute positively to the ethos and values of our nursery. Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in daily routines. Support the smooth running of the nursery and the well-being of children, staff, and families.

What You'll Bring



Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior or room leader role within an early years setting Proven leadership and team management skills Deep understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices Genuine passion for early years education and child development Creativity, motivation, and enthusiasm to inspire others

Working Hours



Our nursery operates Monday to Friday, 7:30am-6:00pm, 52 weeks a year.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
