Little Acorns Nursery are recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Room Leader to work in a fun, stimulating and family run nursery in the heart of Staffordshire countryside.

The key-duties of a Nursery Room Leader include;

Fulfil the welfare requirements of the EYFS and have a sound understanding of the learning and development requirements. Lead a small Team of 4 staff. Play and support children's learning Plan for fun and stimulating activities indoors and outdoors Review and monitor your key-children's development, to ensure children's needs and development are met. Liaise with parent's and other professionals

Job Type / Category

The contract is a permanent position working either 3, 4 days or 5 days per week 8 1/2 or 10 hour per day. Shift patterns start from 7.30-4.30pm, 8am-5pm, 8.30am-5.30pm or 9am-6pm, 10 hours shifts are 7.30-6pm.

Qualifications

Proven experience in childcare and early childhood education Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents Leadership and management experience in a nursery setting Ability to create a nurturing and educational environment for children Proficiency in English, with a valid driving license preferred Commitment to fostering the development and well-being of young children

Pay: From 12.70 per hour

Expected hours: 25.5 - 42.5 per week
