What's the role?



As part of the Paediatric Occupational Therapy Team, you will play a vital role in supporting children, young people and their families across Lewisham. As part of a well established supportive team, you will;


You will manage a varied small complex caseload of children and young people with disabilities Provide assessments, equipment, minor and major adaptations Work closely with families and the multi-disciplinary teams Provide clinical supervision, training to Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioners Support the Operational Manager in service development

What we're looking for



A passionate and motivated experienced Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist with a willingness to grow your knowledge and skills. You will have knowledge and experience of equipment provision, minor and major adaptations, manual handling, risk assessment and supervision of others.


Location



The job is hybrid where you will be required to work both in the office Kaleidoscope, 32 Rushey Green, Catford, London, SE6 4JF, in the community in service users homes and from home on a regular basis.


Special conditions



HCPC Registration Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy is needed The job is subject to an enhanced DBS check

Salary



50,175 - 52,269 per annum (SOT / SCP 35-37)


N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
