We are seeking a dynamic and motivated
Band 6 Occupational Therapist
to join our friendly and forward-thinking team on Ward Three at St Luke's
H
ospital. This 14-bed sub-acute ward has a well-established therapy team, which includes a Band 5 rotational Occupational Therapist, as well as two Physiotherapy colleagues and a Therapy Support Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your leadership skills and clinical expertise will be valued and nurtured.

Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)
Delivering high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy to patients with complex needs.
Leading on service development initiatives and supporting quality improvement projects.
Providing supervision, mentorship, and support to junior staff and students.
Collaborating closely with the wider MDT to ensure holistic, goal-oriented care.
Contributing to the development of a positive team culture that values learning, innovation, and wellbeing.
Liaising with community services and families to ensure continuity of care and safe transitions.
About You
HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with relevant post-registration experience.
Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills ideally within a rehabilitation or inpatient setting.
A passion for leadership, with experience in supporting or developing others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, flexible, and compassionate approach to care.
