You'll empower young people with complex physical and learning difficulties, helping them develop skills, confidence, and independence. You'll use your creativity and clinical expertise to design personalised therapy programmes that don't just meet needs--they unlock potential.



Your Role Will Include:



Designing and delivering safe, meaningful interventions that enhance wellbeing, skill development, and independence Providing high quality pre-entry therapy assessments for prospective learners with complex physical and learning needs, ensuring the holistic understanding of each learner's therapy needs prior to enrolment at National Star. Working collaboratively with the Assessments team and their respective disciplines therapy team (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech & Language Therapy) to contribute to the formulation of person centred recommendations for therapy input, equipment needs, and support strategies Working closely with students, families, and professionals to achieve life-changing outcomes Managing your own caseload with autonomy and accountability Keeping accurate, respectful records in line with professional standards Always putting the student at the heart of what you do

What you will bring :



BSc in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration (and ideally, RCOT membership) Previous experience in paediatrics, neurology, acquired brain injury, wheelchairs and special seating, complex disability, profound and multiple learning disability or sensory integration would be of particular interest to us A heart for learners with complex needs--and the resilience, skill and creativity to support them. The ability to communicate with empathy and clarity across all levels working across multidisciplinary teams internally and externally. A positive, proactive approach to collaboration, problem-solving and reflection Access to transport and the flexibility to occasionally travel to other campuses

Contract Type:

Permanent | Contract: Full time (52 weeks preferred) | Salary: up to 44,476.04 depending on experience | Location Status: On Site (Ullenwood) plus travel to Mamhilad, Hereford ,Worcester as required | Interview Date: TBC | Closing Date: 26/10/2025
