About Us:
Anglo Skills College (ASC) is a Nottingham-based education and training provider offering a wide range of courses and development opportunities. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Office Administrator to support the day-to-day running of the college.
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Office Administrator with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the education sector. While prior experience in an academic setting is preferred, training will be provided for the right candidate.
Working closely with the Principal, the Office Administrator will ensure the efficient operation of the college office, liaising with students, staff, and external stakeholders including awarding bodies and business partners.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide information and respond to enquiries via reception, telephone, and email.
Maintain a well-organized email inbox and respond promptly.
Manage the Principal's diary and assist with scheduling.
Liaise with stakeholders including recruitment agents and awarding bodies.
Register students and maintain accurate records using internal data systems.
Draft and distribute communications to staff and students.
Prepare agendas and take minutes for meetings.
Support with report compilation and administrative research.
Update the college website and promotional materials.
Assist with student and staff recruitment activities.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to college policies, especially in relation to safeguarding.
Attend college Open Days and support marketing activities.
Collaborate with the admin team to allocate and manage administrative tasks.

Technical Skills Required:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiar with communication tools, social media platforms, and modern AI systems.
Experience managing databases and online systems.
Confident in preparing documents, reports, marketing materials, and correspondence.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Business Studies, IT, or Computing.
Minimum 2 years of administrative experience.
At least 1 year of office management or multitasking experience in a similar environment.
Additional Duties May Include:
Greeting visitors and providing refreshments.
Supporting with marketing and funding tasks.
Managing stock and office supplies.
General clerical duties such as filing, copying, and mail distribution.
Assisting with HR administration, such as timesheets and payroll processing.
