Role Overview

We are seeking a

Senior Online Surveyor

with a strong background in nearshore and offshore operations to join Interocean on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing survey department procedures, leading survey scopes within the UK 12 Nautical Miles and offshore waters, and providing remote troubleshooting and assistance to our field teams.

Responsibilities

Lead survey operations within the 12NM limit and in offshore environments. Develop and implement operational procedures for the survey department. Provide remote support and troubleshooting to both offshore and nearshore survey teams. Ensure data quality, operational efficiency, and adherence to project requirements. Act as a technical lead under the supervision of the Subsea & Survey Manager. Support training and development of junior surveyors and offshore teams.

Requirements

Minimum

5 years' nearshore survey experience

(hydrographic, geophysical, or construction support). Strong technical expertise with survey sensors and positioning systems. Experience using the

EIVA suite (NaviPac, NaviScan, NaviEdit, NaviModel)

.

BeamworX

experience is highly preferable. Proven ability to lead offshore survey scopes. Experience with remote support and troubleshooting of survey spreads. Strong communication and reporting skills. Offshore survival and medical certifications (valid or willing to obtain).
