Senior Operations Manager

London, United Kingdom

Job Description

Senior Operations Manager
We're hiring a Senior Operations Manager to help build the backbone of a high-growth AgTech startup redefining sustainable farming at scale. You'll take ownership of farmer onboarding, data collection, and process design - ensuring that everything runs smoothly as we grow from hundreds to thousands of farmers globally.
This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role for someone who's smart, analytical, and thrives in fast-moving environments. You'll be the person who makes sense of complex workflows, manages multiple stakeholders, and turns chaos into clarity. If you love building from scratch, working with purpose, and want to join a billion-dollar startup in the making - this is it.
As Senior Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for building and running the operational engine behind their platform - coordinating farmer onboarding, ensuring clean and timely data uploads, and supporting our growing client base. You'll create and improve systems that can scale, working closely with the leadership team to deliver operational excellence across every aspect of the business.
What's you'll be doing:

  • Manage onboarding and in-season data collection across 400-600 farmers (and growing).
  • Develop and refine operational processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability.
  • Work with partners and corporate clients to ensure data is submitted correctly and on time.
  • Analyse and report on performance, flagging risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Collaborate with commercial and product teams to improve farmer engagement and data integrity.
  • Introduce tools and systems to move from spreadsheets to more robust operational infrastructure.
What you can bring:
  • Highly intelligent, organised, and detail-oriented - with a bias for action.
  • Proven experience in an operational, analytical, or program management role (startup or consulting preferred).
  • Confident using spreadsheets, pivot tables, and data functions.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and making decisions with limited structure.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Ideally, exposure to agriculture, sustainability, or environmental projects.
What's in it for you?
  • Generous base salary 70-80k
  • Equity 0.1-0.2%
  • Joining a high-performing build of A-players
  • Flexible working
  • Clear growth development plan
If this sounds like you, we're hiring now so get in touch! If you don't quite tick every box, but are eager to learn, you're also the type of person we'd like to talk to!
