The Role
We are seeking a
Senior Operations Manager
to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality property maintenance services while driving operational efficiency and team performance. You will take on key responsibilities currently overseen by the Directors--helping relieve their workload while enhancing focus and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the company.
Lead and develop the office-based team to ensure high performance and dedication.
Monitor and analyse operational KPIs and overall business metrics.
Produce regular reports for the CEO and Directors on key areas of importance.
Build and manage relationships with partners, suppliers, and vendors.
Contribute to the achievement of the company's strategic and operational objectives.
Support business development activities, identifying new opportunities for growth.
Recruit, train, and supervise team members.
Provide solutions to operational, client, and personnel issues.
Oversee projects from concept to delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with relevant legal, insurance, and health & safety requirements.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer, Operations Manager, or similar senior role.
Background in property maintenance, trades, or service-based industries (essential).
Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving team performance and company culture.
Experience in scaling businesses and supporting growth strategies.
Excellent strategic planning, business development, and financial acumen.
Demonstrable ability to deliver solutions, streamline processes, and manage people effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure.
Familiarity with HR, Finance, and Marketing functions.
Experience dealing with legal and insurance issues (desirable).
Qualifications
Proven experience in operations management within property maintenance or a related service-based industry.
