Our goal is to delivery over 300+ projects in 2025 and it is for this reason, we are seeking an experienced and established Operations Manager with you to head up and independently deliver the operations of the business.

Each team member has an important part to play in the achievement of the business's headline strategy, supporting objectives and growth plans.

About the Role:



We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The Operator will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring processes run smoothly, projects run to time and budget and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

This is a critical role that supports the overall efficiency and success of our business whilst ensuring we deliver world class service to every client, every time.

Essentially, we are looking for an experienced senior operations manager who can create, deliver and maintain the processes and operations required to deliver 300 sites in the year ahead.

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced operator to head the operations and logistics side of the business.

You will require a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior operations role. Preferably in the Building, Construction or uPVC/Glazing/Conservatory sector. Project management experience and expertise would also be preferable.

The Role Requires:



Experience and Industry Knowledge:



Proven experience in operations management, logistics, or a similar role, ideally in construction or home improvement. Familiarity with processes for conservatory and extension projects, including materials and timelines.

Technical and Project Management Skills:



Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects, create schedules, and manage timelines effectively.

Data Tracking and KPI Reporting:



Experience in creating, maintaining, and publishing KPI reports to directors. Proven ability to effectively track business operations, team performance, and site performance. Skilled in using data insights to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Problem-Solving and Communication:



Strong decision-making skills to resolve challenges and ensure smooth operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and suppliers.

Organizational and Leadership Skills:



Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize tasks and maintain accurate records. Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate cross-functional efforts.

Financial and Safety Awareness:



Experience managing budgets and optimizing costs without compromising quality. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to logistics and operations.

Additional Requirements:



Keen attention to detail and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license may be required for occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities:



Operational Oversight:

Manage the day-to-day logistics and operations for conservatory and extension projects, ensuring smooth workflows and on-time completion.

Material and Resource Management:

Plan and coordinate the procurement, storage, and timely delivery of materials and allocate resources efficiently to meet project demands.

Scheduling and Process Optimization:

Develop detailed schedules, monitor progress, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Supplier Coordination:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure high-quality materials and negotiate favorable terms.

Quality Control and Compliance:

Monitor material and project quality, ensuring adherence to company standards, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Reporting and KPI Tracking:

Prepare and present reports on project progress, resource allocation, and operational performance while maintaining accurate documentation.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, office staff, and stakeholders to align operations with business objectives.

Budget Management:

Control operational budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Problem Resolution:

Address logistical or operational challenges efficiently to prevent project delays.

Job Type:

Full-time Permanent
Salary Range:

50,000-60,000 OTE dependent on experience.
Additional pay:

Bonus scheme - performance dependant

Expected hours:

8am to 5pm (due to being involved in construction builders will start before 9am)

Experience:

5 years' experience in a senior operations role. Preferably in the Building, Construction or uPVC/Glazing/Conservatory sector. Some project management type experience.
