to take full ownership of the company's sales-driven operational delivery and growth strategy.

The Role

As

Senior Operations Manager

, you'll take ownership of national workforce contracts, drive sales growth, and lead a multi-site team in delivering seamless operational performance. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will shape AVTAV's delivery model, ensure compliance standards are met, and align the company's strategic goals with actionable workforce and client-facing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead operational strategy across recruitment, fulfilment, compliance, and client success Manage and optimise delivery of temporary staffing solutions to clients in aviation, logistics, and regulated environments Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Vetting, Training, Compliance) Ensure KPIs across service levels, client satisfaction, and commercial efficiency are met or exceeded Maintain and evolve SOPs and processes that reflect best practice in both service and compliance Oversee workforce planning, contract performance reviews, and client onboarding Act as a senior escalation point for clients, ensuring delivery issues are resolved proactively Own and manage budgets, reporting, and performance metrics Lead bid and tender contributions from an operational delivery perspective Champion AVTAV's values and culture across all operational touchpoints
About You

Proven experience in

senior operational management

, ideally within a fast-paced, regulated environment Strong knowledge of

aviation, logistics

, or

secure staffing sectors

Commercially driven, with the ability to link

operational success to revenue and margin growth

Comfortable managing large temporary workforces and client service teams Excellent leadership, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills Skilled in

compliance, workforce legislation

, and continuous improvement methodologies Resilient, strategic, and highly organised Able to travel across UK sites as required (with London/Heathrow as the base)
