Purpose of the role



Design, develop and implement systems to enhance and support the business. Responsibility for systems analysis, design and build of the proposed solution and for ensuring successful development to produce an effective IT service.



Duties and responsibilities



Analysing and designing software solutions which most effectively meet the requirements of the business

Take responsibility for development of user stories

Deliver agreed artefacts to support understanding and supportability of your deliverables

Consistently develop high quality software to committed dates

Develop unit tests that ensure the delivered component will meet its agreed objectives

Work closely with the agile team to develop to agreed acceptance criteria

Maintain and apply an in depth understanding of current systems to develop practical business solutions disseminating knowledge and best practice to colleagues

Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of technical standards for use by the team and/or department as a whole to promote the quality and effectiveness of IT Solutions

Identify issues or problems which may jeopardise project deadlines or compromise the solution required and highlight/escalate any issues or concerns your Delivery Manager

About You



Skills



Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

Highly self motivated

Keen attention to detail

Ability to perform functional analysis and design for projects including impact analysis on existing systems for any proposed solutions

Flexible and able to multi task

Ability to effectively prioritise and work under pressure to deliver quality solutions

Excellent analytic and problem solving skills

Ability and willingness to provide technical leadership

Ability and willingness to learn new technical skills and apply them effectively

Strong customer focus and team working skills

Strong Outsystems development experience

Mobile Application Development experience desirable



Qualifications and experience



Must be a proven experienced Outsystems developer, working in a similar role.

Working hours



Working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5.00pm with one hour for lunch - hybrid role.
